Coat-A-Kid 2010 Kicks Off at Lincoln Elementary
There was a big turnout at Evansville’s Lincoln Elementary School on November 9th for the kick-off of the 2010 Coat-A-Kid campaign, sponsored annually by Don’s Claytons Fine Drycleaning.
Don’s Claytons is accepting new and gently used coats for infants, children and teens at all Don’s Claytons locations through December. The coats will be cleaned and given to The Salvation Army and Evansville Christian Life Center to distribute free of charge to needy children and teens through January.
Don’s Claytons reports the need for coats this year is greater than ever.
More than 130,000 new or gently-used winter coats have been distributed to Evansville-area children and teens through the Coat-A-Kid program since it began more than 25 years ago.
